Crane School District hosts sweet competition
The Crane School District welcomed staff members back from their fall break with a tasty tradition.
It recently hosted its Annual Staff and Family BBQ. It’s a time for teachers and administrators to reconnect while enjoying a delicious meal.
The event also recognizes staff members for their contributions to their students and their community.
Arguably the best part of the barbecue is the Mascot Bake-off competition. In fact, you might say it takes the cake! Nutritional services departments from each school try to cook up something truly memorable.
This year the creative chefs at H.L. Suverkrup took first place. Centennial Middle School’s bakers came in second. But you have to admit, all the cakes are pretty cool!
