SeaWorld announce plans to open Sesame Street park in San Diego

The Sesame Street gang is heading to SeaWorld in spring 2021.

ABC 10 News in San Diego reports the Sesame Place Park will be located in Chula Vista, replacing the Aquatica San Diego water park in Chula Vista.

Reports said the nearly 17-acre Sesame Place will include family-friendly thrill rides, parades, and live shows and character interactions.

The first Sesame Place opened in July 1980 outside of Philadelphia.
