Police investigate shots fired at Chevron in Yuma

The Yuma Police Department are investigating an attempted murder that happened in the parking lot of the Chevron gas station on Avenue B and 32nd Street.

When officers arrived to the scene of the shooting just after 8:00 p.m. they found a 21-year-old man.

Witnesses at the gas station said they saw a person transported to a hospital by ambulance after hearing three gunshots go off around 8:15 p.m.

The man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There is no word on any suspect at this time. The shooting is still under investigation.
