BRIGHTSIDE: Yuma Family Pumpkin Patch

This Halloween season the Yuma Family Pumpkin Patch has the fun for everyone to join in on.

The Pumpkin Patch is held by Champion Church every year, with this year being 14 years.

It is open to the public from Fridays to Sunday from 5 pm to 9 pm. During weekdays, schools’ have the opportunity to get in on the fun.

Harvest Prep Academy was able to attend the pumpkin patch, something they have been going to for the past four years. School officials said that they look forward to it every year and it always puts a smile on the student’s faces.

There’s a pumpkin patch with fresh pumpkins that are cut just a few days before they are put out for grabs. They also have a dunk tank, a maze, a Galactic show, a barrel wheel ride, different games, and a train.

With five dollars and a donation of a canned good anyone can enter.

The canned goods are collected and given to people in need during the holiday season. In the past Champion Church has been able to help several families who were in need by providing them goods.

Every year the pumpkin patch gets better with new additions added, this year being the train that takes riders around the church’s grounds.

Champion Church is located at 3625 South Ave Five E in Yuma. For more information on what the patch has to offer click here.
