One person shot near Cibola High
Update: Yuma Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance including shots fired at the 4000 Block of West 21st Place.
When police arrived at the scene a man, whose identity has not yet been released was found with gunshot wounds. He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center and there is no word yet of his condition.
Police have also contacted a second person who admitted to being involved with the shooting.

Original Article: Yuma Police Department ( YPD ) closed off several streets in the Cibola Heights neighborhood in Yuma a little past midnight on Sunday.
About half of W. 21st Place between S. 40th Drive and S. 42nd Ave. is shutdown due to police gathering evidence.
Another area of the neighborhood near S. 43rd Drive between W. 21st Lane and W. 21st Place was also closed off by YPD . According to neighbors that is where police made an arrest.
We received a tip a little past midnight about multiple shots fired near the area. The tip then also mentioned that they heard someone shout: “You shot him in the head!”
One neighbor that has lived in the neighborhood for about 20 years told us that around 11: 50pm on Saturday they heard an argument ensue and then followed by gunshots.
That has yet to be confirmed with Yuma Police Department, we reached out to YPD , and they will release information to us as it becomes available.
