Tangled whale calf saved from net
A team of rescuers swoop in and save the day for a baby whale snagged in shark netting.
The calf got tangled in shark netting along Australia’s northern coast. It swam all the way down the coastline to Sydney before it got the help it needed.
A small team of rescuers leaped into a rubber boat and took on the task of untangling the young whale.
It took a few hours to cut away most the netting. The rest fell off as the calf swam away.
