Breaking News: New details on Yuma bank robbery

BREAKING NEWS: Police provide more details on a holdup at a Yuma bank.

Yuma Police tell us it happened just after 4:45 Friday afternoon at the First Bank Yuma on 4th Avenue.

Officers say a man walked up to a teller, told her he had a gun, and demanded money. He then made his getaway.

Police say they found a 49-year-old suspect in the area a short time later, and took him into custody. Officers say he admitted to the robbery and they recovered the cash.

Tonight the accused man is in the Yuma County Jail facing felony charges.
