Three cheers for Cibola Spiritline!

The Cibola High School Spiritline earns cheers for its work with kids from throughout the community during its recent Cheer Buddies Clinic.

The Raiders’ varsity and junior varsity cheer teams taught about 50 aspiring young cheerleaders about the importance of good nutrition, hydration, and safety during the three-hour clinic.

They also worked with youngsters on tumbling, cheers and chants, dance routines, and stunts.

Spiritline coach Tayde Lund says the clinics are a great way for the girls to give back to their community.

” Helping others and being kind is a priority, ” says Lund. ” I want the cheerleaders to be a great reflection of what ” Cibola High School likes to instill in their students and athletes. ”

The spirited buddies will show off everything they learned at the clinic during halftime of this Friday’s Cibola varsity football game against Brawley . The game kicks off at 7 p.m.

Cibola’s Spiritline holds two Cheer Buddy clinics every year; one during football season, and another during basketball season.
