Spread the Love Charity receives much needed van

Spread the Love Charity received a van from Molina Healthcare Wednesday morning to help fight homelessness in the Imperial Valley.

With an excess of vans in its fleet, Molina Healthcare wanted the vehicle to go to good use in the community.

Jessica Solorio , founder of Spread the Love Charity, said they’ll use the van to further their outreach and provide mobile showers for the homeless. ” Go and pick and pick up large quantities of food. Deliver them to some of the campsites. We want to go out and meet homeless individuals that may not know who we are. We want to get to the core of why they’re homeless. If there’s something we can do to help them not be homeless, ” said Solorio .

Spread the Love Charity helps over 60 homeless people everyday .
