San Luis HS security guard arrested for sex crimes with a minor

The Yuma Union High School issued a statement Friday regarding the incident of the arrest of the security guard that was arrested for sex crimes with a minor.
“The Yuma Union High School District received information this week that one of its classified employees has been arrested for sexual misconduct with a minor student of the District. Pursuant to Arizona law, and in consultation with legal counsel, the District has taken immediate action to terminate the individual’s employment with the District and that individual is no longer employed. The health and safety of all Yuma Union High School District students is a primary and most important value of all board members and staff at the District. We will continue to do our utmost to provide a safe learning environment for all students.”

The Yuma Union High School District said they’ve been informed of the arrest of a female security guard at San Luis High School who was arrested for alleged sex crimes against a minor Thursday by the San Luis Police Department.
“She was booked in under several charges and it relates to a minor,” according to Lieutenant Marco Santana from SLPD.
In fact, the woman is facing more than 40 felony charges including sexual conduct with minor involving sodomy.
YUHSD said this is a personnel matter and it is under investigation.
