Pet Talk: Meet Bryne and Nala

For this week’s pet talk, we get to meet a roly-poly puppy and a shy cat.

Both are up for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma and PetSmart near Yuma Palms.

First is Bryne. Bryne is a chug which means he is half Chihuahua half Pug.

He is three years old and has a black and golden coat or brindle pattern.

Chihuahuas are described as charming, graceful, and sassy.

They are tiny dogs with a huge personality.

On top of that, the pug’s motto is the Latin phrase “multum in parvo” (a lot in a little)–an apt description of this small but muscular breed.

And then there is Nala. Nala is a three-year-old calico kitty.

She is litter box trained and gets along well with other animals.

She has lived with small dogs in the past so would be a perfect addition to any family.

She is lovable but a little on the shy side…but to be honest…what cat isn’t at times?!

She is a perfect cat to have for company.

Bryne is available for adoption at the PetSmart in Yuma Palms and Nala is at the Humane Society of Yuma.
