Stars set to compete in Dancing for a Dream to raise funds for kids with cancer

The 6th Annual Bailando Por un Sueno , (Dancing for a Dream), fundraiser has officially kicked off.
Local stars from the Imperial Valley will be competing in a dance competition in October, to raise funds for children with cancer.
Proceeds from the competition go towards helping families pay for medical needs and treatment for their child.
The non-profit held its meet and greet last night.
Stars and dancing instructors were paired with the child they will be raising funds for.
This year, Dancing for a Dream chose six special children that will benefit from the proceeds raised.
” I’m dancing for this lovely lady here. I am looking forward to helping this family during this challenging time. Being able to help and do my part and also knowing that people are there to lend a hand and be part of your life, ” said Jimena Ainza , one of the stars that will be competing.
Dancing for a Dream’s dance competition will be on October 25, at Cheval Farms in Imperial.
