Man accused of forcing woman into truck in Arizona arrested

A man has been arrested after he was allegedly seen on a surveillance video forcing a woman into his truck in Youngtown, west of Phoenix.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials say 41-year-old Alfredo Espinoza was taken into custody Monday night in Wickenburg, north of Youngtown.

They say he’s been booked into a Phoenix jail on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend.

Her name hasn’t been released.

Sheriff’s officials say the woman was heard screaming for help and seen running away from Espinoza at a car wash in Youngtown on Sunday night.

The video released by the sheriff’s office showed the woman being pushed and forced inside a pickup truck.

At the time, sheriff’s officials feared the woman was in danger but she’s reported to be safe.
