Police ID the man that was shot near Estrellita Market

The man that was shot near Estrellita Market has died due to his injuries, according to the Yuma Police Department (YPD). YPD has identified the victim as 31-year-old Marcus Jackson.

YPD stated the charges Jimmy Roy Jordan is facing has been updated to 1st-degree murder.

Police said on July 23, 20-year-old Jimmy Roy Jordan was contacted in the 1800 block of S. Walnut and was taken into custody without incident.
