White House tweets Tucson Border Patrol for apprehending smugglers

A tweet from The White House thanked the Tucson Border Patrol for apprehending five drug smugglers last Friday.

The tweet states that border patrol agents and a Customs and Border Protection ( CBP ) helicopter apprehended the smugglers at 7 a.m. on July 12. The five smugglers illegally crossed the border into Arizona. They were said to have seven backpacks of meth and marijuana.

CBP Arizona twitter retweeted The White House and included a thank you to their partners at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
