Man arrested for smuggling drugs in his shoes

Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican national Wednesday for smuggling drugs in the soles of his shoes.

USBP tweeted that they arrested a 39-year-old man for allegedly smuggling suspected fentanyl pills in the soles of his shoes. The arrest happened at the Interstate 8 immigration checkpoint .
