Amber Alert issued for two children taken from DCS
An AMBER Alert was issued Tuesday for two boys who were taken from The Department of Children Safety ( DCS ) by their parents this morning.
FOX 10 in Phoenix reports two-year-old Blaze Kirkley and four-month-old Ryder Kirkley were taken at 7:30 a.m. from DCS custody by their parents, Melissa Joy Gladden and Jerry Jay Kirkley .
A DCS safety monitor who was placed in Gladden’s home left for a short time, and upon returning found Gladden and the two children gone. FOX 10 says DPS officials say there is a history of domestic violence, and Jerry Kirkley is known to carry weapons.
According to a tweet from Arizona Department of Transportation the AMBER Alert was issued for a 2008 Dodge pickup truck with Louisiana license plate C618802 .
