Shark Tank in search of Arizona’s top, diverse entrepreneurs

Got what it takes to be the next entrepreneur on Shark Tank? A casting call for entrepreneurs will be taking place on July 23 at the Better Business Bureau in Phoenix as part of the Shark Tank Diversity Tour.

According to the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, the tour is focused on diversifying the pipeline for the Emmy-winning business show and supporting minority-owned businesses around the nation.

“Entrepreneurs with spark and grit exist in every community, culture, gender, and zip code, said Values Partnerships Senior Consultant, Brandon Andrews.” “We are excited to partner with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, and others to highlight the incredibly diverse entrepreneurs in the Southwest.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Shark Tank for a casting call to offer a launching pad for Phoenix’s diverse entrepreneurs” says AZHCC President and CEO Gonzalo A. de La Melena, Jr., “As the operator of the Phoenix Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Center, we remain focused on elevating minority-owned businesses by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in high-growth industries.”
