CBP: Woman caught attempting to smuggle drugs inside her body

A woman was caught on Thursday attempting to smuggle fentanyl inside her body.

According to Customs and Border Protection, Border Patrol agents at the I-19 immigration checkpoint near Amado, Ariz., arrested a 22-year-old woman after she was caught with fentanyl.

Border Patrol agents said the woman had the fentanyl inside her body. She was reportedly found with 246.5 grams.

The woman is now facing federal felony drug smuggling charges.
