Saddles of Joy seeks volunteers for summer

Saddles of Joy, a therapeutic horseback riding program that serves special needs children, is in need of volunteers.

The organization also helps veterans and adults with disabilities heal physically, emotionally, and mentally through horseback riding.

The types of tasks for volunteers include feeding the animals, cleaning stalls, and washing horses. Training is provided and volunteer times are 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays 7 a.m. to noon.
