Rural Metro: Mulch fire contained, smoke expected over next few days
Fire officials confirmed the mulch fire reported Monday afternoon has been contained but residents should still expect smoke in the area over the next few days.
The fire was reported at 2375 West County 12th Street Monday afternoon, according to Rural Metro Fire Department.
Firefighters at the scene have controlled the fire and will continue to monitor the area over the next few days.
Residents are advised to please avoid the area.
