The footage caught five people crossing into the U.S. illegally through the Colorado riverbed, which was dry at the time, according to Customs and Border Protection.

The agency explained multiple shots were fired at a secondary border wall just west of San Luis.

CBP added that a truck arrived after to pick up the people involved, and they crossed back into Mexico before agents could arrive.
