Tucson police: 2 men found dead in home in a double homicide

Police in Tucson is investigating a double homicide after two men were found fatally shot in a midtown home.

They say the victims have been identified as 62-year-old Matt Alford and 60-year-old Lewis Jetty.

Police say Alford was a resident of the home and Jetty was his friend.

The two men were found Monday night with obvious signs of gunshot trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say detectives have determined it’s not a murder-suicide case.

According to authorities, a friend came to check on Alford and found the front door unlocked, discovered the two bodies and called the police.

Authorities say no suspects have been identified yet.
