Palm View evacuated after reports of a fire

Palm View Rehabilitation and Care Center was evacuated Thursday morning after a resident said they smelled smoke, according to the Yuma Fire Department.

Those inside were taken to a building next door while firefighters investigated the incident.

The Yuma Fire Department said that so far nothing has been found to indicate that there was a fire inside the facility.
