Suspected child killer takes own life in prison

Mexican authorities have confirmed the death of the suspect who was arrested in connection to the murder of a seven-year-old San Luis, Mexico girl, who was missing and found dead last Thursday.

According to La Tribuna of San Luis, Sonora Department of Public Security confirmed the suicide of 29-year-old Aaron Guadalupe ” N ” , who was in custody for the death of seven-year-old Itzel Nohemí Quiroa Seratos . The 29-year-old suspect was also being investigated for drug-trafficking charges.

Authorities said the man was found hung with a piece of blanket inside his cell Tuesday morning.

The suspect was recently admitted into the San Luis prison called CERESO , on Saturday, June 1.

According to the Sonora State Attorney General’s Office, officials found the body of the minor in a remote deserted area 164 feet from the canal where Itzel Nohemi Quiroa Seratos was last seen. She was found half-buried at a shallow depth between two plants in the area.

An Amber Alert was issued for Quiroa Seratos’s disappearance that had reached an international level.
