Yuma Ag Center’s Ag field day this Thursday (May 30)
In this week’s Home Grown segment we want to tell you about an upcoming event open to the public. Learn all about what happens at the Yuma Ag Center, Thursday, May 30 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Come enjoy tacos while touring the Yuma Plant Clinic and also learn about plant disease. This is the first time the Yuma Ag Center is opening their doors of their lab so you can see how they help local farmers and the community.
Dr. Bindu Poudel who is the Extension Plant Pathologist and Plant Disease Diagnostician at the center will be at the event.
” This is the first time we have done this. It’s a great way for the community to come out and see our lab and it’s like an open house basically for the community. ”
