Ohio bar serving menstrual margaritas creates online buzz
A restaurant outside Cleveland, Ohio, is creating quite the buzz on social media with a new drink on their menu.
The restaurant, Yuzu, posted a picture of their new margarita online. A particular “prop” in the drink is causing quite the stir on social media.
The drink, formerly known as “Even Can’t Literally,” is a berry margarita complimented with a tampon. Proceeds from the drink will be donated to a local women’s shelter.
Social media had mixed reactions on the drink.
Users on Facebook criticized the bar for wasting tampons instead of donating them directly to the women’s shelter. Others think the concept is just visually gross.
