Local school wins “Best High School Concert Band”

Kofa High School’s Concert Band was given a score of “superior” and the title of “Overall Best High School Concert Band” on April 26, at Six Flags Magic Mountain Music in the Parks festival in Valencia.

Kofa’s Concert Band was invited to the festival after a successful season during the 2018-2019 school year.

Kofa’s Concert Band Director Sheryl Clifton said, “I am really proud of this rating. It has been years since Kofa band received a rating of Superior. The students worked so hard to get to this point. I could not think of a better way to end the year.”
