Border Patrol agents apprehend over 140 undocumented immigrants

Agents from The Yuma Sector Border Patrol apprehended over 140 undocumented immigrants just 19 miles East of the San Luis port of entry.

Agents said this is a remote area where mostly single adults cross through and are used by smugglers.

“Your single adult males that are looking to push drugs through, this is an area where we don’t see families come through, so as you can tell our traffic patterns are constantly changing,” said Jose Garibay, a Border Patrol agent.
