Two trailers catch on fire, no injuries reported
No injuries were reported after two trailers caught on fire near Avenue C and Third Street Thursday evening.
Rural Metro Fire Department said shortly before 5:30 p.m., a fire began in the area of Avenue C and 3rd Street. Authorities had initially received a report of one trailer on fire. Firefighters soon arrived on scene and found a trailer and a tree on fire which led to a second trailer catching on fire.
The fire was soon put out before it could spread any further. One trailer was a total loss and the second trailer had moderate damages.
Both trailers were vacant at the time of the fire. Fire officials said no injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation by the Rural Metro Fire Department.
