The following restrictions will occur south of Gila Bend on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Restrictions will resume Monday, May 13, through Wednesday, May 15.

SR 85 will be narrowed to one lane between the U.S. Border Patrol Checkpoint (milepost 16) and milepost 32. Motorists should anticipate up to a 5-mile lane restriction while crews progress through the work zone. The speed limit on SR 85 will be reduced to 25 mph. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone. A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. ADT advises motorists to allow extra travel time and plan for possible delays.
