Brawley police arrests 4 in McDonald’s shooting

Brawley Police Department responded to multiple reports of a shooting at McDonald’s on Main Street in Brawley.

Brawley police said officers arrived on scene and arrested four suspects involved in the altercation. The suspects involved used a knife and fired a replica firearm that fires pellets.

The altercation started inside of McDonald’s and continued outside near the parking lot.

McDonald’s management responded quickly and placed the restaurant on lockdown for the customers safety.

No customers or employees were injured, authorities said.

Three of the suspects were taken into custody and one was taken to the hospital for his own safety but did not sustain any injuries.

Police is still investigating the altercation.
