Cyber Threats and Scams Online
More and more of our lives and connection to the community depends on our digital presence, yet our information is also at its most vulnerable to hackers and beyond. On Monday, April 22nd, the Main Library will host a Cyber Security workshop at 6:00 p.m. Learn how to protect yourself and your community from harassment and identity theft, and how to safely conduct online shopping, banking, and other transactions. There is no charge to attend.

World Book Fest
Celebrate World Book Day at the San Luis Library! Beginning Tuesday, April 23rd, teens are invited to read and select a favorite book to keep (while supplies last) through Saturday, April 27th. You can also create a personalized bookmark with materials provided. There is no charge to attend.

Teen Cupcake Wars
On Saturday, April 27th, teens are invited to participate in Cupcake Wars from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Work in teams of up to 3 people to create your most amazing and inspired cupcake creations with the theme of the favorite video game. Our impartial judges will decide which cupcake is supreme and the winning team will win fabulous prizes and the right to be called the Ultimate Cupcake Warriors!
Team registration will be on-site, first come, first served (limit of 12 teams). All supplies will be provided on a first-come, first served basis. Team members must all be between the ages of 13 and 18 years old, but everyone is welcome to watch the competition. There is no charge to participate.
