Pavement improvement scheduled to start on Monday

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for week-long lane restrictions on US 95 in Yuma.

Maintenance crews and contractors are scheduled to do pavement-improvement work between milepost 39 and Dome Valley Road (milepost 42).

The following restrictions will occur Monday through Friday beginning Monday, April 22, and ending Friday, April 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

US 95 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions. A 12-foot-vehicle width restriction will be in place. Flaggers and a pilot truck will direct motorists through the work zone. Motorists should allow extra travel time and plan for possible delays while work is underway.
