Yuma City Council to discuss adminstrator’s performance

Yuma City Council will discuss the city administrator’s annual performance and the ongoing lawsuit against The Salvation Army Tuesday night.

During the biweekly work session, the council will discuss the annual performance of City Administrator Greg Wilkinson with Wilkinson during an executive session.

The City said they conduct annual reviews on all full-time and regular part-time employees.

In the executive session, the council will also speak with legal counsel about the ongoing lawsuit the City of Yuma filed against The Salvation Army, according to the agenda released Friday.

The City of Yuma filed the lawsuit was filed in December after The Salvation Army announced they would drop the Boys and Girls program and instead implement the Red Shield Community Center.

Items discussed during the executive session are not open to the public.
