Goodwill hosting hiring fest Thursday, March 28

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona will be hosting a hiring fest on March 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for local hiring companies at its Yuma Career Center located at 3097 South 8th Avenue.

According to a press release, the hiring fest offers applicants an opportunity to learn more about career development through the organization’s digital training. Those who attend also meet with companies hiring for positions in high-growth potential positions.

Companies participating include Allied Universal, Walmart, US Census Bureau, Yuma County, River Valley Estates, 24 Karat Jewelers, AZ@Work, Hunter Employment, Ocean Beauty and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona, the non-profit agency said.

Candidates can also visit the free Goodwill Career Center where an advisor can help you update your resume, cover how to approach recruiters, help you master interview tips, and go over what it means to “dress to impress.”
