Brawley business owner found shot inside burning business

A Brawley man was found shot to death inside his business that was set on fire, according to authorities in San Bernardino, California.

The Central Station/Grand Terrace Police Department responded to a business in the 22000 block of Commerce Way just before 1:50 a.m. Saturday after the agency received reports of a silent alarm being triggered.

When deputies arrived, smoke could be seen coming from the business.

Both deputies and fire personnel entered the building, and found 43-year-old Brawley resident, Ryan Harsany. He was transported to a hospital.

Doctors discovered he had suffered gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead just before 7:30 a.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office.

Harsany was the owner of INFERNO restaurant in Brawley as well as California Skate GT, according to his Facebook page.

Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail are leading the investigation. No suspects are known at this time.
