No injuries reported in storage building fire on Drysdale Lane

UPDATE

Authorities say no injuries have been reported in a storage building fire that happened on Drysdale Lane Friday afternoon.

The Rural Metro Fire Department said they received a call regarding a house on fire in the area of 12000 block of Drysdale Lane at around 2:40 p.m.

A neighbor had reported the fire and no one was at home at the time of the incident.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and found smoke and flames coming from a storage building on the property.

The fire burned some brush on the neighbor’s property and it was a good stop by the firefighters, said Charly McMurdie, public information officer with Rural Metro.

No injuries were reported and the fire has been completely put out.

The cause of the fire is still unknown by authorities.
