Attack on Border Patrol agent leads to arrest

Customs and Border Protection reported Monday of a man suspected of attacking a Border Patrol agent by throwing a bladed object that hit the driver’s side window.

According to authorities, the Border Patrol agent sustained injuries but was able to pursue the suspect, along with other agents, and arrest him.

The suspect is now in federal custody and faces serious charges.
