Artist inspiring others to follow their dreams

Edward Dennis has over 30,000 Instagram followers and a talent for illustration, and he is sharing his story to inspire others along the way.

Dennis says one thing many do not know about him is that he is a big nerd and he believes this played a big part in his career.

“I’m a nerd. I’m a big nerd. Growing up I had like ten-thousand comic books and growing up I read a lot of comic books and that’s how I got into Art, just drawing comic book characters and video game characters,” said Dennis.

Edward also loves to ride his bicycle but not in the way we are all thinking. He is a real dare-devil and has broken more bones than many of us.

“Lots of scars all over, stitches, staples and broken bones. It hurts but you get to a point where you love biking so much, you know getting airborne, it’s just like what is a broken bone? It’s just a road bump,” said Dennis.

Dennis has no release date yet on his upcoming book ‘Mermaids with a Message’ but he believes its purpose is important to speak about.

“It’s Mermaids and they come in and pretty much they’re tired of the ocean being filthy and they pile all the trash up on the beach and they leave a letter for the humans. They read it and they start changing and it has a lot of inventions and a lot of organizations came with us and have their inventions in it and it’s just really a cute book,” said Dennis.

Many have knocked Dennis down in this career but he is continuing to push forward.

“People think of it as you can’t make it a career and if you know I’m a kid from intercity Phoenix and if I can get paid from people all over the world, whether it can be professional players or just anyone off the street, you can do it,” said Dennis.
