Bike detective recovers $14K in stolen wheels

A man in Spokane, Washington has recovered $14,000 in stolen bikes online.

It all started seven years ago when the man, who wished to remain anonymous, had his bike stolen. A friend of his reached out, saying that he saw the bike listed for sale online. Since then, he’s made it his mission to scour popular sites such as Facebook Market Place, Offer Up, Let Go and Craigslist for other stolen bikes.

Since then, he’s recovered $14K in stolen wheels and has dubbed himself Spokane’s bike detective.
