Pet Talk: Meet Arlo and Mitchell!

For this week’s pet talk two rascals sure to melt your heart, if you are a sucker for a dog who always wants to play and a cat always looking for love.

Both with honey like colored coats, they have sweet personalities to match.

First, Mitchell, a sweet cat who loves to be loved.

Mitchell is a 3-year-old domestic shorthair who has a coat of orange and white.

All he wanted to do was be scratched under the chin and boy did he love it.

Purring loudly, Mitchell wanted desperately to go explore the room and meet other feline friends.

Very interested in his toys, M itchell would love to be able to have a friend drag a ball of yarn around for him to chase.

And Arlo, a spry one-year-old mixed breed that hops like a bunny and runs like a cheetah.

A perfect exercise buddy, A rlo loved running around in the grass whether he was chasing a ball or his own tail.

Because Arlo is about 54 pounds, he would work well in a family that has older kids.

Though Arlo has not quite mastered sit yet, he is still at a great age where he is wanting and willing to learn.

Both pets are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Yuma.
