‘Hotel del Migrante’ in Mexicali to close its doors
‘Hotel del Migrante’ in Mexicali will be closing its doors due to lack of money.
The migrant shelter has helped more than 400,000 migrants over the last nine years and has served hundreds of thousands of migrants from Latin America, even as far as Africa.
The shelter serves as an important checkpoint for asylum seekers and they also help people who are deported through Calexico.
