Man reported missing found, according to authorities

UPDATE: According to Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, Hernandez was located at some time last night or early this morning.

Authorities say he is in good health.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Authorities sent out a helicopter in hopes of locating a missing man in Foothills.

Armando Hernandez, 55, walked out of his home near 46th Drive and Ironwood Drive Thursday afternoon, according to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office.

Hernandez is described as 5’10”, about 200 pounds with brown hair and eyes, according to YCSO.

They claim he was last seen wearing a burgundy jacket and gray pants.

The U.S. Border Patrol BORSTAR and Marine Corps. Air Station Search and Rescue helicopter was deployed but was unsuccessful in locating Hernandez, according to YCSO.
