YCSO seeking suspects posing as RV World employees

Authorities are currently seeking two suspects posing as RV World employees and allegedly scamming RV owners.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO), several reporting parties told authorities that two suspects, who identify themselves as “Chris” and “Duke”, performed work on their RV’s. The suspects, who present themselves as RV World employees or representatives, do not return after finishing their work or the work performed was not the work they paid for.

RV World confirmed to YCSO that these suspects are not the company’s employees or representatives.

This case remains under investigation.

YCSO is reminding the community that if you are approached for any type of work at your home or business, you should remain vigilant of these scams. You can contact the Better Business Bureau, the company they represent directly or your local law enforcement agency.

Anyone with any information concerning this investigation or believes they might be a victim is asked to contact the YCSO at (928) 783-4427 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous. You can also visit their website to submit an anonymous tip.
