Interstate 8 re-opened near Yuma

UPDATE: (8:54 a.m.)

Interstate 8 eastbound has reopened between mileposts 42 and 54 east of Yuma, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said that Interstate 8 is still closed due to an earlier crash.

Eastbound traffic is being detoured off the freeway at milepost 42 (Tacna) and going to milepost 54 (Mohawk).
