Heavy smoke reported at Centennial Middle School
Crane School District officials said classes are expected to resume Thursday following reports of heavy smoke Wednesday afternoon.

Crane School District officials said they are unsure if there will be class Thursday. Crane School District will notify Centennial Middle School staff and families if classes will resume tomorrow.
ORIGINAL STORY
The Yuma Fire Department responded to heavy smoke coming from Centennial Middle School at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Crane School District said there were no students inside at the time as classes were dismissed at 1 p.m.
Crane officials added that the smoke was caused by an electrical malfunction that was caused by fog and moisture in Yuma Wednesday. There was no direct impact reported.
Classes will resume as normal on Thursday.
