Power outages reported following Friday morning rainfall

APS is reporting twenty people are still without power following the Friday morning rainfall.
-15 customers are currently without power due to troubleshooting in the area of County 8th St. to Interstate 8 and Pacific Ave. to US Highway 95.
Estimated restoration time for this area is 11:30 a.m.
-Five customers are currently without power due to troubleshooting in the area of 24th St. to 32nd St. and Pacific Ave. to S. Avenue 3 E.
Estimated restoration time for this area is 1:30 p.m.
APS said they are issuing ice reimbursements to customers affected by the outage.

The Arizona Public Service said 2,546 customers are in the dark Friday morning.
APS said it’s due to a service interruption to major power lines.
Crews are currently making repairs and power is expected to be restored by 8:00 a.m., according to the APS website.
The areas affected include 24th Street to 36th Street, Arizona Avenue to Avenue 2 3/4 East, 12th Street to Del Sol Lane and Avenue C to Avenue A, County 8th Street to Interstate 8 and Pacific Avenue to Highway 95.
