School zone safety report: Arizona among the worst

A new report released Wednesday morning has become a significant concern for parents across the state.

California-based Zendrive’s recent report shows Arizona ranks near the bottom when it comes to school safety zones.

Zendrive analyzed data on speeders who drive distracted, aggressive or make sudden stops. T raffic crashes are the leading cause of death for students in the United States.

You can see for yourself, zendrive created an interactive map to allow you to look at specific schools and counties and see what grade they received.

Yuma County as a whole was ranked a letter D.

Zendrive is offering districts $50,000 for safety improvement grants.
