Corn Festival brings community together for a good cause

The Somerton High School Committee and the City of Somerton are hosting its annual Corn Fest Saturday.

From 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M., live music by La Sucursal de la Cumbia and others, food and more will bring visitors to Main Street in Somerton.

If you like corn, then you can look forward to a corn eating contest.

There will also be a tribute to veterans at 4:00 P.M.

According to the Somerton High School Committee Facebook page, money raised during the festival will be used to fund extra curricular activities for students attending the future Somerton High School campus.
